Christmas Concert – order of the day
St James’ Church Tunbridge Wells TN2 3RL, Saturday December 13th 2025
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with its location, St James Church is on the corner of St James Road and Sandrock Road just before the fork with Ferndale. There is a small car park on site, otherwise it’s a lucky dip on finding street parking nearby; alternatively, it’s only a short walk back down the road to the Crescent Road Car Park.

CHANGING FACILITIES
These are limited so you may wish to consider coming at least partially changed – there are toilets in the Church and Hall.
CONCERT DRESS:
Ladies: festive plain red tops (three quarter or full sleeve) with long black skirts or smart black trousers.
Men: dark suits or D.J.s with white shirts: colourful ties or bow ties, the brighter the better.
We shall not be using the black folders.
AT THE END OF THE CONCERT:
Music – please leave any borrowed music in the boxes provided, especially the Rutter as those scores have to be returned before the start of next term. Your cooperation in ensuring that your pencil marks are erased before return would be most appreciated. The actual location of the boxes will be determined on the day.
It would also be most appreciated if members could spare a moment or two afterwards to help put the chairs away in order to leave the church as tidy as possible.
The rehearsal schedule covers the Christmas 2025 concert and forward to the summer 2026 concert. Any changes of time or place of rehearsal are listed when announced. Where available, notes of work done at previous rehearsals are also added.
Newsletters are now under the Archives menu tab. The current start of season newsletter is available here.
